Halloween themed crafts

We made a spider from strofoam ball by painting it black and then adding googly eyes and pipe cleaners as legs.

To accompany the spider, we also made a spider web by painting a paper plate, then punching some holes in it and then lacing a ribbon through the holes. Don't look at the several holes there, R got really into hole punching and then kept on punching and then we went short on the ribbon.

We also made a bat craft imnspired from notimeforflashcards.com. We made handprimts and cut them out for the wings and I had cut the bat body parts from black construction paper.

This was a very popular craft as R asked to make this craft again and again for several days. I guess it was probably because he could complete the craft all by himself with minimal help from me and he gets a sense of accomplishment by doing so. This owl craft was inspired from DLTK.

No Halloween crafts are complete without the ghost. We had already made the paper plate ghosts from FamilyFun

But when I saw this shaving cream ghost at notimeforflashcards.com I knew R would love it. So we made more ghost. But then it was R's idea to put orage color in the shaving cream and make some puffy pumpkins too and since as R said " The pumpkins which are not ripe are green so lets make some unripe pumpkins too".

He got really creative that day and asked for orange and black beans which I wan't sure of what he was going to do with them. But he made such a creative and beautiful pumpkins by doing this beans craft on the pumpkins.
